Hi Ben,
Any idea when we might see the WCM Quick Start tutorial? I’ve played with Alfresco on and off for some time but its a long time since I did any real development work. The scope of the tutorial reads well and would be a huge boost in delivering my first application with 3.3 Otherwise there seems to be some confusion occasioned around the separation of SURF and I do not know enough to navigate through that!

Hi David,
We are looking to merge the Quick Start to HEAD early next week so if you want an early look, you should be able to get the code. The first release with installers etc will be with 3.4 Community scheduled for the end of September. Documentation is in progress now. There will be an Install and Config Guide, a User Guide and a Developer Guide. You can take a look at the start of the Dev Guide here – http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/WCM_Quick_Start_Developer_Guide but be aware this page is work in progress and will be deleted when moved into core product documentation. I will draft out a quick tutorial when it gets in to HEAD for people to have an early look.
